Its been a while...AGAIN!

Just a few shots of our busy life these days:)  Baseball has taken up most of our afternoons with practice and games.  I have also been taking some Sr Pictures of the high school kids:)

SPRING BREAK 2010

We had a great spring break!  We started our spring break this past Saturday. We headed for Ruidoso, New Mexico to ski at Ski Apache with our friends The Grimmett Family.  The boys wanted to snowboard (Thanks Winter Olympics)  so Troy researched it and asked the rental guys if they needed to start on ski's.  All had the same answer "NO".  So the boys rented snowboards and went to snowboarding school.  Their instructor & Troy and I were pleased at how well they did - guess the rip stick paid off (see valentines blog)!   Day one - they sailed down with very little problems.   Day two, was another story.  It snowed all day ( around 13 inches)  and the fresh powder posed a problem.  Once skiers packed it down some - they were good to go!  The people at Ski Apache were SO NICE!  Awesome place to ski:)

Once we got home, we decided to make a run to El Paso to look at furniture and buy a freezer.  So we headed out Wednesday evening and spent the night so we could "shop" all day Thursday.  We also took the boys to the gravesite of John Wesley Hardin.  The Concordia Cemetery in El Paso turned out to have quite a handful of "famous" people buried there.

So today we went out to the Equine place with some friends so they could ride horses.   Carson was ready to ride, but Christian didn't want to ride in a pen.

Blog Overhaul

So last night, I got creative and decided it was time to change up the ol' blog.  So here it is!

In other news...Both boys made the A honor roll again!  Very Proud Parents!

Baseball will be starting up soon.  We will register Christian saturday.  Carson does not want to play, but could end up changing his mind before its all over.

I will be taking my 1st Senior pictures this weekend as well!  My friend Janna will come with me and help! We will be taking two seniors and family pics. LOTS of pictures to edit!  So I will be a BUSY BEE!  :)

March 8th is our Spring Break and we are going to Ruidoso, New Mexico to Ski Apache! We are going with our Grimmett Friends.  Will be posting lots of pics in the near future !

Happy Valentines Day

We treated the boys with Valentines gifts they were wanting.  Christian got a basketball, and a couple of Under Armor shirts.  We told Carson once he learned to ride the rip stick, then we would get him one - it only took him 2 days!  We decided to do Valentines today - Troy has to work tomorrow - so this way we celebrated as a family.  

New 2010 blog post

Life in 2010 is no different than life in 2009 - so far!  HA!  Went home for Christmas /New Year.  Came back to Alpine and Troy left for California for a week.  Boys are back in school, making straight A's again (except handwriting for Carson- I'm not even counting it -LOL).  I have been babysitting my neighbor, Bella.  Check out her pics @ ballardphotography.zenfolio.com  We have had just a few photo shoots since she has been with me:)  We are steadily cheering on our COWBOYS!  Christian is giving one of his teachers fits this week - she is a Farve Fan.  He put his Barber jersey on her desk along with other Cowboy stuff.  Her response was " to get out of my class"  LOL.   Today I had the opportunity to take some pictures of a little girl about to turn 1.  We did a "cake smash" shoot.  Here are a few shots:
