The season has arrived
Well, its that time of year again, mom's life is centered around FOOTBALL! Christian had his first game yesterday and oh what a game. He was sharing the quarterback roll with his friends Isaac and Dustin aka Pork Chop. Christian was the quarterback for the first touchdown - a reverse to Mikey (aka Smiley). Then he threw the touchdown pass to Isaac with seconds left in the game. Score: 13-6! Way to go Bucks! Very proud of my young man! Oh and our jersey's did not arrive on time, so we had to borrow some and they were just a tad too big! :)
PS. Didn't leave Carson out on purpose, he has started practicing, but I have yet to hear when they will start games. Maybe Troy will be able to see one before he leaves ?

Our busy busy last 4 weeks
Mid July we went to Midland and bought new living room Furniture -YAY ME! On our way home, we stopped and picked up or dear friend Marshall to come stay with Christian for a few days. The boys had a great time together.
Upon leaving Tyler, we headed on to Texarkana to visit family. It was busy, but a great time. The boys loved being out and about on the farm. I think Christian spent most of his time on the 4 wheeler or the EZ-Go, going around and around the pasture! Carson received training on the EZ-Go, not sure if he passed the test! LOL
We Got up EARLY Sunday morning and took Marshall back home and then we headed to Tyler Texas where we went to visit with our GOOD friends Brian, Jennifer, Austin, Karis, Krista, Chris, and Bekah . While we drove into Tyler, we stopped at a car lot to "LOOK" at SUV's. We were just so stuffed in that car, we decided we would START looking to decide what we wanted WHEN it was time to buy. Well, to say the least we went back to the car lot the next morning and bought an '08 Honda Pilot! LOL Jennifer said we were the only friends she knew that went on vacation and bought a new vehicle! I AM LOVING MY NEW RIDE:)

After about a week in Texarkana, we were off again. This time we headed to Oklahoma City where Troy had training - we just tagged along:) We stayed in OK City for 2 weeks. The boys and I were ready to go home week one, but we soon went out and enjoyed some great pizza in Brick Town and Frontier City (amusement park). Spent many days at the pool:)
We also got with our friends, the Ganns, and had a few days of fun with them which included the Zoo, and a trip to Chuck E Cheese to play around.
When it was time to head home - WE WERE READY!

All~Star tourny PART 1
Today we finally started our 11-12 yr old All~Star tourny in Fort Stockton. We were suppose to start last wednesday, but rain postponed us. Today we played Pecos' 12 yr old team - yea they tend to play dirty like that. We have just four 12 year olds on our team. We held our own. They beat us 8-7. We played a good game. (We didn't tell the boys they were playing mostly 12 yr olds.) We play Fort Stockton tomorrow at 6. Stay tuned to Part 2... Wednesday morning:)
Christian is #6.

Houston/SA trip
This past weekend, Troy had to go to Houston on business. The boys and I decided to tagged along since it was Father's Day weekend. We took Troy to school @ 8:00 and the boys and I did some shopping and swimming until time to pick him up @ 5:00. On Saturday night we surprised the boys and had a great time at the Astro/Rangers game even though someone was in our seats! We found some empty seats in the same section so all went well. On our way home, we split the trip and made a stop in San Antonio. The boys took me to the River Walk and see the Alamo. Since I was the only one that had not been to SA, the boys enjoyed showing me things and taking me into some shops. In July we will make another business trip with him to Oklahoma City, making a stop in Texarkana first to see family. It will be a 4 week trip. Glad we have friends in OK City to spend time with:)

Baseball in Terlingua
This past Thursday Christian had a baseball game in Terlingua, TX It is an hour and half drive for us. Talk about HOT - It was 102 degrees at 6:30 pm. The field is just dirt and rocks. I took my camera, so you could see the ball field for yourself. We won 28 - 0 in the 3rd inning.
