BIG Bend National Park Part2

Today we made the trip to the Big Bend. Here are a few pics

Christians 1st game!

Saturday Morning we had to up and out of the house by 7:45, to meet up with the team and make a drive to Fort Stockton for a 10:00 game. Christian is #80 this season, and is a wide receiver. He made some good blocks today! WE WON 14-8

Another one of Christians practices

So we are not sure if we have a game Saturday or not. I don't think Fort Stockton is ready. In all honesty we could use more practice too! Guess we will find out Tuesday. Here are some pics of Christian practicing in his pads!

Yep, more pics. Another game Tuesday. Hopefully we'll have our jersey's by Tuesdays game. Carson did well today.. Stayed focused the whole hour and didn't run around the field playing like some of the others:) Making Progress!

FYI...I am not planning on posting ALL games played, But since Troy is out of town, I will be posting MANY pics of the boys playing football, so he has a chance to "see" them playing. Carson played well tonight and I think he really likes it:) I hope he can make it through without too many injuries or too many scuffles!

Christians 1st practice

Have to be fair, so here are pictures of Christian at football practice.  His first game, I hear is Saturday, September 26.  I think we play Ft Stockton.  Not sure if it will be here, in Alpine, or there?

Birthday Pool Party

Since Troy was going to be out of town for Carson's bday, we decided to have a Big Party for both Christian and Carson.  We rented the pool at the Best Western and had a few friends over to help celebrate.  I ordered 3 dz small beach balls and gave one to each child that was there as a "party favor"  We ordered Pizza instead of having the  traditional Birthday cake. The boys had a blast!

So today was Carson's first practice with his team the "Cowboys".  So, of course, we had to wear the Dallas Cowboys Jersey & I, of course,  took my camera to take pics:)
