Busy Busy Busy

Things have been crazy busy around this small town! Kids are out of school, and all the last minute photo shoots are done! Troy and I are headed to Ft Stockton (walmart) tomorrow to finish up our christmas shopping. I just hope they are not sold out of everything YET. Carson is our main priority. I need to pick just a couple of things up for Christian. My friend Carolyn has agreed to watch the boys for us=] We said goodbye to the Cleveland's this Friday:( They should make it to Virginia sometime tomorrow. Emily and her family will be headed that way for a 6 month detail this next week. We will miss those hookers!

Christmas Surprise

Here is a video I made of the Air Interdiction Pilots! Troy and I laughed until we cried! You really have to know these guys to appreciate it. We are showing it at the Christmas Party this Saturday. Only a couple have seen it, so it ought to be one big laugh.

More SNOW pics

So the boys played hookie today...when it snows in TEXAS, you have to take full advantage of it! We decided to get our sled out and find some hills to conquer. We kidnapped our friend Ethan and off we went:)We all got into the fun:)

The Deer have started to take over the golf course in evenings around 5.

SNOW!

We didn't get the 3 inches, but we did get SNOW! The boys don't have to go school until 10 - but we are thinking of just keeping them home. The roads are still covered and they are slick. The Christmas Bazaar is today - may, may not go, depends on the road conditions later today.

Its been a while

Ok, so I am WAY behind in keeping all up to date. Guess with Troy coming home, volunteering at the school, end of football season, and pictures, I have been pretty busy. All of our friends in town , left for the thanksgiving holiday-wonder why? LOL :) Anyway, Carson lost a tooth last week, I think. Then last night, Christian and Carson were playing and bumped heads and knocked a loose tooth - well - REALLY loose. Ended up pulling it before the night was over. So Friday night I was not feeling good and had no energy, so we did not go to cheer on our fighting Bucks as usual. We did, however, have the time to sit down and finally carve our pumpkins. Christian and Carson picked out the design, then I went to carving! Wished Daddy was here to help out, but we managed. Here are the end results:

SNOW in October!

YEP you read it right - SNOW in October! Yesterday we had fierce wind, collapsing part of our new library under construction. Winds were recorded over 50 mph. This morning I had to drive to Ft Davis for our Preschool Halloween Party. On my drive there, I went thru rain and sleet, pure sleet, then nothing but snow! Flurries lingered through the day. There is nothing on the ground now, but it is COLD outside, low for tonight is 30 degrees - brrrrrr. Sunday we'll be back up to 70. No wonder everyone has runny noses!

One of my customers grew pumpkins this year and decided create a scene where photos could be taken. She let me know and asked if I would be interested in using it....YES! So I made up a couple of packages and off we went. I am busy taking pumpkin pics along with Family Portraits for Christmas! Here is some of what I have been doing lately.

Birthday

Today my friends Emily and Shelly threw together a little lunch for my birthday. All the kiddos played outside until the rain started so we had dessert in the garage. Emily made a big oatmeal chocolate chip cookie cake and put 30- something candles on it! There is a cookie beneath the flames! LOL
