Whew! just a lil update

Baseball for me is just about over:)   Just in time since I have to go back to work Monday!  It has been a crazy summer, and this fall will be just as hectic.  The boys will be playing football, I will be taking pics, and Troy will be in SC for 6 weeks.  I will be running around like a chicken with its head cut off!  Can't wait!

I do have my fingers crossed for a light at the end of this tunnel.  Right now,  all we have is a twinkling light.  Will fill all you Blog followers in as the twinkle becomes a beam:)

oh my - how long?

Well, I didn't realize it had been SO long since the last blog!  OOPS!

Life here is busy, busy, busy!  My photography business is growing, boys are starting Baseball, and Troy could be leaving for South Carolina soon:(  Who knows with all this "Budget" hoopla!

This past February temps were the lowest they have ever been here.  Our pipes froze and flooded our living room and Carson's room.  Our landlord was a great help and we eventually got new carpet in those rooms. House is almost back to normal.  YEP its been that long.

We went to Tyler for Spring break - HAD A BLAST with our GREAT friends, Brian, Jennifer, Austin, and Karis:)  MUCH NEEDED.  Not to mention a BONUS visit with the one and only Sheridan (my boys love and miss him)!   We also had the opportunity to visit some of my family as well!

Now we are about to head into baseball season and that will be especially BUSY!  Carson on one Team Christian and Troy on another (Troy is Coaching) and me running around taking pictures at both + I am the team photographer for our cities pro baseball team the Alpine Cowboys.  I will try to post pics later.

The season has arrived

Well, its that time of year again, mom's life is centered around FOOTBALL!  Christian had his first game yesterday and oh what a game.  He was sharing the quarterback roll with his friends Isaac and Dustin aka Pork Chop.  Christian was the quarterback for the first touchdown - a reverse to Mikey (aka Smiley).  Then he threw the touchdown pass to Isaac with seconds left in the game.  Score:  13-6!  Way to go Bucks! Very proud of my young man!   Oh and our jersey's did not arrive on time, so we had to borrow some and they were just a tad too big!  :)

The Reverse

Setting up for the winning touchdown pass

...and that is Isaac back there catching the pass for the WIN!

PS.  Didn't leave Carson out on purpose, he has started practicing, but I have yet to hear when they will start games.  Maybe Troy will be able to see one before he leaves ?

Our busy busy last 4 weeks

Mid July we went to Midland and bought new living room Furniture -YAY ME! On our way home, we stopped and picked up or dear friend Marshall to come stay with Christian for a few days. The boys had a great time together.

We Got up EARLY Sunday morning and took Marshall back home and then we headed to Tyler Texas where we went to visit with our GOOD friends Brian, Jennifer, Austin, Karis, Krista, Chris, and Bekah . While we drove into Tyler, we stopped at a car lot to "LOOK" at SUV's. We were just so stuffed in that car, we decided we would START looking to decide what we wanted WHEN it was time to buy. Well, to say the least we went back to the car lot the next morning and bought an '08 Honda Pilot! LOL Jennifer said we were the only friends she knew that went on vacation and bought a new vehicle! I AM LOVING MY NEW RIDE:)

Upon leaving Tyler, we headed on to Texarkana to visit family.  It was busy, but a great time.  The boys loved being out and about on the farm.  I think Christian spent most of his time on the 4 wheeler or the EZ-Go, going around and around the pasture!  Carson received training on the EZ-Go, not sure if he passed the test!  LOL

After about a week in Texarkana, we were off again.  This time we headed to Oklahoma City where Troy had training - we just tagged along:)  We stayed in OK City for 2 weeks.  The boys and I were ready to go home week one, but we soon went out and enjoyed some great pizza in Brick Town and   Frontier City (amusement park). Spent many days at the pool:)
We also got with our friends, the Ganns, and had a few days of fun with them which included the Zoo, and a trip to Chuck E Cheese to play around.

When it was time to head home - WE WERE READY!
